Founded the Business Statistical Organization in 1904, selling business and investment information to companies. In 1929 Babson correctly predicted the stock market crash. He was 1940 candidate for US presidency for the Prohibition Party. In 1948 he founded the Gravity Research Foundation. He felt that gravity waves should somehow be harnessed, and that this important force of nature was not being properly exploited. Founder of Babson College and Webber International University.
