Refined, very British actor, best known as the eponymous novelist and adventurer on the television series Jason King. His other memorable roles included the ill-fated debunker of superstition in the horror classic Burn, Witch, Burn (also known as Night of the Eagle), and numerous portrayals of delightfully despicable guest villains on television series from the 1960s to the '80s.
