Owner of "Cyber Promotions", a notorious spammer, and later founded a group to defend spammers. His business was thought to have ended 16 October 1997, when a court fined him $2 million over these activities, now known as "Spam Freedom Day", though oddly the world is yet to be free of spam. Wallace has since been linked to several spam and spyware outfits, and a website designed to trap users as their browsers open numerous new windows. In several separate lawsuits, he has been forced to pay hundreds of millions of dollars, so presumably his spam and other operations must yield substantially more than that in profits.
