[1] Reported as "openly gay" by SoCal glbt dot Newsmagazine (dotnewsmagazine.com), but later, the magazine issued the following retraction: "In the December 2006 issue of dot Newsmagazine, we inadvertently reported that Michael Urie is an openly gay actor. In fact, Urie is not gay but portrays an openly gay character in ABC's Ugly Betty. We apologize for any confusion."
