AKA Lee Bunnell
Birthplace: Yorkshire, England
Race or Ethnicity: White
Nationality: United States
Executive summary: One-third of America
The son of a U.S. servicemen stationed in England, Dewey Bunnell joined with two other American military offspring to form America while still in high school in 1969. In 1971 they released their first single A Horse with No Name, which reached #1 in the American music charts. A long series of popular folk-rock records and singles were to follow.
But surely, the pinnacle of all this success was capped by an opportunity to perform at Jesse Ventura's gubernatorial inauguration in 1998.
