TELEVISION PROGRAM

Science fiction series; adventures across time and space featuring a "madman with a box." Aired on BBC from 1963-1989, and 2003-present.

In the audio-video guide magazine Radio Times, the program's debut on the BBC on 23 November 1963 was listed with this description: "Doctor Who? That is just the point. But this much is known: he has a ship in which he can travel through space and time ..."
