Founded 1863 in Providence, RI as a branch campus of Bryant & Stratton National Business College. Merged with Rhode Island Commercial School as Bryant College in 1916. Relocated to "Tupper Campus" in Smithfield, RI in 1971, on land donate by Earl Tupper. Renamed Bryant University in 2004.
