Lack of accreditation. This institution is not accredited by standard accreditation bodies -- those recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation. Instead, it sports an "accreditation" from the American Accrediting Association of Theological Institutions, which for $100 will issue "credentials" for an institution that could not pass muster under CHEA guidelines. In 2008 it obtained credentials from an organization calling itself "Accrediting Commission International", which also is not recognized by CHEA.
