ABSTRACT
Vince Papale, a thirty-year old Philadelphia man facing the loss of his teaching job and wife's companionship, decides to answer incoming Philadelphia Eagles coach Dick Vermeil's call for open tryouts while doing his best to make ends meet as a bartender.
