Survivors from at a hardened underground facility several years after a nuclear holocaust head cross-country through a depopulated America in two specialized "Landmaster" all-terrain vehicles towards Albany, the only real radio signal they can find. They encounter a rock-throwing kid, ornery hillbillies, mutant cockroaches, etc. Ridiculous low-budget effects highlight this story only vaguely reminiscent of the Roger Zelazny novel.
