Khan Noonien Singh has escaped his forgotten exile on Ceti Alpha 5 and seizes control of the starship USS Reliant; he attacks Space Station Regula I, home of the Genesis Device, capable of creating life or destroying it on the grandest scale. Spock and Kirk, aboard the USS Enterprise for a training mission, divert to Regula I to confront their old enemy. Continuation of ST:TOS season 1 episode Space Seed, broadcast in 1967.
