ABSTRACT
Dwight, a sad, hapless shell of a man, lives life as a rusted-out Pontiac-dwelling vagrant, spending his days loitering around a Virginia beach resort and scavenging just enough refuse amidst throngs of tourists to sustain himself. Tracked down by a well-intentioned policewoman one fateful day and informed that Will Cleland, the murderer of his parents, is about to be released from jail, Dwight springs into purposeful action, heading out on a violent quest to avenge their killing filled with humor as dark as the circumstances under which he operates.
