ABSTRACT
Remake of Cactus Flower (1969). Danny Maccabee, a successful Los Angeles-area plastic surgeon with a penchant for skirt-chasing who feigns unhappy marriages to land romantic partners, is caught in a spot of trouble when a sixth-grade math teacher he connects with one night discovers his prop wedding ring the next day. Desperately seeking a relationship with a woman who believes him to be an adulterer, he enlists the help of trusted assistant Katherine Murphy to pose as his "soon-to-be-divorced wife" Devlin, eager to maintain his elaborate lie without having to come clean about his long-running scheme.
