A husband seeking to exact revenge for an assault on his wife becomes caught up with a group of brutal vigilantes.

ABSTRACT
Will Gerard, an English teacher at New Orleans' Rampart High, maintains a deeply romantic relationship with wife Laura. When Laura, an aspiring musician, is assaulted after leaving a rehearsal one night and ends up in the hospital, an angry Will is visited by mysterious individual Simon with an offer: If Will allows his group of vigilantes to eliminate the assailant, he will be asked to perform a "favor" in the future. Agreeing to do so, Will ultimately finds himself on the run from a powerful network of ruthless killers out for blood when he seeks to prove his innocence after murdering an award-winning journalist.
