ABSTRACT
A strange, terrifying, and unexplainable neurotoxin appears in present-day Central Park, inducing mental illness leading to a certain suicide in all unfortunate enough to come into contact with it. Caught amidst the ensuing mass chaos as the neurotoxin -- initially believed to be the long-feared work of terrorists -- spreads throughout New York City and the East Coast is Philadelphia-area high school science teacher Elliot Moore, a gifted and hardy soul who must seek shelter with his wife and friend while attempting to draw on his body of knowledge to solve the ongoing mystery.
