Chinese action film tells of an ancient warrior's heroic feats in the turbulent times of the Seven Kingdoms.

Long ago, in a violent -- or, as the Chinese themselves might term it, "interesting" -- time in which seven kingdoms fought for control over various portions of the Chinese landscape, six rulers plotted to assassinate Qin, the most powerful head of state of them all. A minor state official unexpectedly defeats Qin's three most fearsome enemies -- warriors named "Broken Sword", "Flying Snow", and "Sky" -- in short order, arriving at the emperor's palace for an audience with the embattled ruler permitting him to tell his tale in great and bloody detail.
