A perpetual college student with no plans to graduate questions his life choices after he falls in with a student journalist.

ABSTRACT
Van Wilder is Coolidge College's resident big man on campus, parlaying his seven years at the school into a career as a "party organizer", figure-drawing model, and all-around animal always out for a good time. Gwen, a student journalist tasked with covering Van's curious existence, writes an unflattering piece on him when his near-constant partying precludes the ability to sit down for an interview; enraged by the ensuing negative attention, he makes an effort to get to know her better, leading to a host of sexual hijinks and a crisis of conscience all brought about by a simple desire to "bag" yet another nubile woman on campus.
