ABSTRACT
Carl Casper, a top-flight chef ejected from his position at a well-regarded Los Angeles restaurant after failing to acquiesce to its controlling owner's wishes, moves to Miami with his ex-wife and friend and decides to start a food truck. Chef is the story of a fallen culinary virtuoso's quest for personal and professional redemption through the art of food, using the food truck as a means of healing wounds in his estranged family.
