A disaffected thirtysomething's emotional return to his alma mater draws him into a complicated romance with a young college student.

Jesse Fisher, an admissions officer at a New York City school suffering through a languid period in his life stemming from relationship troubles and a general sense of dissatisfaction with his career, heads back to his beloved alma mater -- a liberal arts college somewhere in Ohio -- to attend a retirement ceremony for his beloved old English professor. Running into nineteen-year old student Zibby after the party in question, the 35-year old Jesse finds the young woman instantly appealing, striking up a flame with her in spite of their massive age gap that looks to complicate his confusing life even further.
