Wade "Cry-Baby" Walker, a greaser and the lead "drape", and Allison Vernon-Williams, the most popular "square" girl, fall in love at a 1950s Baltimore High School. Musical over-the-top parody of Grease (1978) as well as the entire genre of teen delinquent films and a general homage to the fifties. Depp owns his role; good musical numbers and dialogue.
