High-class prostitute Claudia Draper fights to avoid being declared criminally insane, and be allowed to stand trial for manslaughter after killing one of her clients in self-defense. Engaging and overlooked psychological courtroom drama, despite the contrived story and its obvious origin as a stage play. Excellent performances yielded by Streisand, Dreyfus and the supporting cast.
