Review by DAVE DRUGS (posted on 6-Apr-2005)

This is all you need to know about Troops: It is a parody television's Cops in the Star Wars universe from the Stormtrooper's point-of-view. It is extremely funny and available for viewing online. It is rare for a parody to have these qualities, most of them far too long (Spaceballs) or much too literal (Hardware Wars). It is a successful, entertaining spoof because of the keen attention paid to the Cops franchise and the obvious love/respect for the Star Wars universe. The sharp costumes and good editing job help elevate it over so many overly-serious fan-made movies.
