A scavenger in the violent, post-apocalyptic Australian outback makes a deal with an oasis of civilized folk who are being harassed by outlaws.

ABSTRACT
Several years after the events of Mad Max (1979), gasoline has become a most precious resource. From a gyro captain, Max learns of a band of settlers rich with fuel, presently under siege by warlord bikers. He strikes a deal with the them to help get their people and gasoline to "the coast." Sometimes called Mad Max 2. Received a Hugo nomination for Best Dramatic Presentation.
