ABSTRACT
Jamie Marks, a lonely teenager largely cast aside by his peers during his brief time on Earth, is found dead near a river in a quiet town. His passing leaves an inexplicable mark on Adam, big man on campus and fixture of the area high school's cross-country team; when his ghost appears to both Adam and Gracie, the young woman who'd discovered his body and Adam's love interest, the athlete must choose between romance or his bizarre growing connection to the afterlife.
