Successful married African-American architect Flipper Purify has an affair with his Italian-American secretary Angela Tucci, which continues even after he leaves the company to become self-employed. Cascading social complications extend for both Flipper and Angie, once the affair is uncovered. Good film with perhaps too many messages; now somewhat dated.
