A man is struck by a car in Greenwich Village and takes a seat in a nearby bar, where Jean Lang does a tarot reading for him. The cards predict death, even when the reading is repeated. After discovering that he has amnesia, Jean and her friends sift through the contents of his pockets looking for clues as to who he is. Absurdity after absurdity piles up in this third out of the series of eight Whistler movies.
