Sequel to Pure Country (1992). Bobbie, an attractive young Southern belle with a tantalizing singing voice, leaves her hometown to seek out a career in country music in Nashville. Blessed with the assistance of three angels channeling their message through her Aunt Ella, Bobbie finds herself governed by three rules -- no lying, absolute fairness, and a total commitment to keeping all promises -- guaranteeing her success if she honors them, a code that naturally lends itself to severe challenges when the pressures of rising fame begin to catch up with her.
