ABSTRACT
Supervillain Gru and assistant Dr. Nefario, made to feel lame by a rival villain's theft of the Great Pyramid of Giza, hatch an elaborate plot to shrink and steal the Moon to restore their lost pride. When Gru adopts three girls from an orphanage as part of a ruse for his master plan, however, he finds the challenge of raising them and conjuring up the patience to keep them complacent to be an even taller task than any of his schemes.
