ABSTRACT
Adapted from the Richard Russo novel of the same name as a two-part HBO miniseries, Empire Falls follows life in a fictional Maine town, depicting its hampered existence as a mill town during tough economic times and offering viewers a glimpse into the life of Miles Roby, the area's top restauranteur and family man struggling with problems of his own.
