A librarian's marriage is impacted by his involuntary propensity for random time travel.

ABSTRACT
Henry DeTramble is a Chicago librarian with a strange condition, possessing an inherited genetic anomaly causing him to travel through time at random and unexpected intervals. An encounter with a lovely young woman at the library leads to a confession over dinner that she has been in love with him since she was six years old due in part to his numerous time-bending adventures, producing a romance and subsequent marriage further affected by his travels.
