Quentin Tarantino re-fights World War II, with top-notch dialogue (in English, French, and German), delightfully vile Nazis, comic bookesque action sequences, war crimes committed just for fun, an over-the-top Brad Pitt, and a storyline that's much, much more enjoyable than the historical facts (which are disregarded entirely).

Retelling of The Inglorious Bastards (1978), with little resemblance.
