Director: Jack Clayton
Writer: Francis Ford Coppola
From novel: The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald
Music Supervised by: Nelson Riddle

Keywords: Romantic Drama
Jay Gatsby, his wealth obtained illegitimately, loved and still loves Daisy; but she, in order to live in the manner in which she had grown accustomed, has married another man. Set in 1920s Long Island, it is a story of aristocracy behaving badly, heavily relying on narration of Gatsby's neighbor, Nick Carraway. Follows the scenes of F. Scott Fitzgerald's novel, but the cast does not properly capture the characters they are intending to portray. Won Oscars for Best Costume Design and Best Score.
