REVIEWS Review by Kathy Young (posted on 4-Jun-2007) As a child growing up in the 70's I saw this movie on tv several times and loved it more each time. A lot of the actors are people that kept reappearing in bit parts in sitcoms and movies of that time, which gave it that warm and familiar feeling. It has a great story that's funny, touching and of course with Andy Griffeth in it, very believable. It has been years since I have gotten to see it and I can't imagine why it hasn't been released for video or dvd. It's a wonderful movie and much more entertaining than some of the movies that have been out on dvd several years. I keep checking the Internet hoping to find it someday! Somebody please make it available.
Review by anonymous (posted on 19-May-2005) Angel in my Pocket is a wonderful film that tells a poingnat story of a minister and his family in their first assignment. It is humerous, thought provoking and very on target with some of the issues that face ministers still today.
