ABSTRACT
Sutter Keely, a charming high-school student possessing a degree of self-absorption bordering on narcissism and fixated on his hard-partying lifestyle, gets drunk and passes out one night after getting dumped by his girlfriend. Coming to on a lawn the next day with a young woman named Aimee Finecky hovering over him, he finds himself strangely drawn to her existence, even though her introverted personality and long-term outlook on life seem to stand in strident opposition to his own ethos.
