ABSTRACT
The familiar town of Springfield and all its peculiar inhabitants play host to this feature film version of Fox's beloved animated series, following Homer Simpson as his inadvertent polluting of the town's water supply produces mass hysteria and forces his entire family on the run as fugitives. Living in Alaska while Springfield sits enclosed in a giant class dome, Homer opts for a quixotic trip back home to "save" his community following an epiphany involving a polar bear and an Inuit shaman, doing so despite the townsfolk and government's ongoing resentment towards him.
