ABSTRACT
Sequel to Paranormal Activity (2007). Carrying on in the general spirit of its cult-phenomenon predecessor, Paranormal Activity 2 centers on the suburban Rey family as they endeavor to install a system of security cameras throughout their house following a supposed burglary that leaves their home trashed. When they get their network up and running, however, they soon realize that their supposed "break-ins" are actually paranormal hauntings, setting off a chain of terrifyingly violent events that serve to threaten their continued existence.
