National Lampoon's Vacation (29-Jul-1983)|
Director: Harold Ramis
Writer: John Hughes
Music by: Ralph Burns
Producer: Matty Simmons
Keywords: Comedy, Amusement Park, Road Trip
Clark Griswold, ignoring his family's desires to vacation in Hawaii, takes his family on a cross-country road trip in their Wagon Queen Family Truckster to the moose-centric Wally World amusement park. Along the way they meet Cousin Eddie (who almost steals the show), become distracted by Christie Brinkley in her Ferrari, and a mishap befalls Aunt Edna's dog "Dinky." One of very few decent National Lampoon productions; spawned multiple sequels.
