J.C. Wiatt is a successful New York career woman who is thrown for a loop after a cousin dies and she inherits a baby girl, Elizabeth; finding herself struggling to both care for the child and maintain her high-paying position, she resigns and relocates to Vermont. Though now dated and riddled with quite a bit of cliché, fine performances from Diane Keaton and her supporting cast in this good-hearted romantic comedy.
