ABSTRACT
Set in a bohemian artist's colony on the coasts of pre-World War I England, Summer in February fictionalizes events surrounding a true-life love triangle between renowned English horse painter Alfred Munnings, friend Gilbert, and mutual love interest Florence Carter-Wood, an affair playing out against a backdrop of artists known as the Lamorna Group.
