An introverted teenager's voluntary spell of solitary confinement in a basement takes an unexpected turn with the arrival of his half-sister.

ABSTRACT
Fourteen-year old Lorenzo, an introverted Italian teen hard-pressed to form meaningful relationships with those around him, decides to hide out in his building's basement for a week under the guise of a "ski trip". A planned spell of absolute solitude free from society's expectations is interrupted by the unexpected arrival of half-sister Olivia, a woman in her mid-twenties who brings with her several days filled with introspection and affection.
