Johnny Jones, a young American reporter for the New York Globe, is sent to England to report under the pseudonym Huntley Haverstock. His attempt to interview Dutch diplomat Van Mier is aborted when he witnesses his assassination instead. Digging deeper, he finds not everything is as it seems.
