A man falls in love with a man who dies in a plane crash's wife after switching plane tickets with him.

ABSTRACT
Los Angeles advertising executive Buddy Amaral, fresh off of a big-time signing of a major airline as his firm's latest client, is stuck at an airport waiting for a delayed flight operated by said airline. He decides to switch plane tickets with a stranger, Greg, hoping to catch a flight to reconnect with his son; the plane crashes and Greg is killed. Devastated over the incident, Buddy decides to get in touch with Greg's widow a year on from the crash, embarking on a strange romance with the woman even though he isn't quite sure how to reveal his accidental role in her departed lover's death.
