A stallion discovers true love and friendship on an emotional journey through the Old West.

ABSTRACT
Spirit is a wild, majestic stallion, poised to carry on his father's legacy as leader of their Cimarron herd; unfortunately, the herd's peace is interrupted by the westward advancement of American civilization, resulting in Spirit's capture by cowboys and sale to the military's cavalry. Spirit defies a colonel's attempts to break him, joining forces with Lakota warrior Little Creek as he sets out on a tumultuous journey along the frontier and entertains a romance with a ravishing mare.
