REVIEWS

Review by anonymous (posted on 21-Jun-2005)

I thought this was the greatest musically based movie yet. Just the idea of having so many talented singers in one church choir, is amazing! Cuba Gooding didn't have to have any musical experience to make this group a hit! The O'Jays, Beyonce, Angie Stone, Montell Jordan, Melba Moore... any choir director should get so lucky! The storyline was realistic, too! From Faith Evans being pushed out of the church choir, to her grown-up son (Cuba Gooding) coming back to take them to the championships. My heart races everytime I watch this movie. I would love to walk into a barbershop and have the O'Jays do an acapella for my son! An absolute joy to watch!
