ABSTRACT
The Geostigma disease ravages Gaia, a direct consequence of extraterrestrial material impacting the planet during the events of the Final Fantasy VII video game. Advent Children follows heroic soldier Cloud Strife, mired in a mess of guilt over his past and living a life of solitude, as he returns to action to rescue diseased children kidnapped by a nefarious trio.
