ABSTRACT
A musical using the hit songs of 1970s Swedish pop group ABBA as a backdrop, Mamma Mia! follows Sophie Sheridan, a well-to-do young woman and bride-to-be, as she prepares for her wedding on the Greek island of Kalokairi by sending invitations out to three different men. Explaining that a glance at her mother's diary led to the revelation that she has three possible fathers, Sophie's act sends her off on a mission to find the truth, bringing her hotel-owning mother face to face with former lovers as she goes searching for answers.
