ABSTRACT
Adapted from a literary character created and developed by the late Tom Clancy, Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit follows a young Ryan in the present day, touching on his traumatizing tour of duty in Afghanistan following 9/11 and start with the Central Intelligence Agency as a financial analyst. When Jack uncovers a Russian plot to destroy the American economy, he abandons his line of work to become a spy, placing his relationship with fiancee Cathy in the balance as he fights to protect his fellow countrymen.
