In this third Thin Man installment, Nick and Nora Charles visit Col. MacFay, the business partner of Nora's late father, who has been receiving threats from former employee Phil Church; almost immediately MacFay turns up dead, but Nick thinks Church may not be responsible. Soon, others start turning up dead as well. Witty murder mystery in the same vein and humor as the others in the series; the Charleses introduce their newborn child, Nick Jr., as well.
