ABSTRACT
Wade Porter, husband and proud father willing to go to the ends of the Earth to protect his family, is convicted of manslaughter for killing a home invader and sentenced to a three-year spell in a maximum-security prison. Life is now tough in ways most unexpected for Wade as he is forced to become a hardened animal of a man to survive in a lawless realm staffed by abusive guards.
