ABSTRACT
Loose remake of The Pink Panther (1963). The world-renowned coach of the French men's national soccer team is assassinated by poison dart at the end of a match; thieves make off with his ring, set with the infamous Pink Panther diamond. Unable to find a detective fit for the job, French authorities go for the next best thing with Inspector Jacques Clouseau, hiring the bumbling investigator to get down to the bottom of a case of utmost national importance.
